Maeya traditional food's founder Choi Song Ja, a designated Korean Traditional Food Grand Master No.83 in 2018, has inherited 170 year old recipes of our ancestors. She has been operating the company for past 30 years to preserve the traditional taste of Maehwa village's characteristic recipe. The company's product, rice jocheong, is made through 18 hours of fermentation after boiling malt and Korean high quality rice to keep the original scent and taste of traditional rice jocheong.
