It is a traditional distilled liquor of Joseon used to be called 'Hanju', meaning that it is distilled as if working up a sweat, or 'Roju', meaning that it is made like a dew. It has been passed down to and developed by Seoul intangible cultural heritage no.2 technician and his daughter-in-law. It has soft taste and delicate flavor with a clean after-taste by fermenting and distilling Korean rice, nuruk, and clean Seokgan water below 18 degrees, and aging them again for a long time. |
