Company introduction

Foodies Co., Ltd. is a grain processing company that operates under the motto “Good ingredients make good products.” Starting with basic grain processing, the company began importing raw cacao beans directly from farms in Ghana and Peru and established its own chocolate production line to create bean-to-bar chocolate. Foodies also formed a joint venture with the Seoul National University Advanced Institute of Convergence Technology to co-develop and market healthy bean-to-bar chocolates under the brand Xoco Atelier.Recently, Foodies developed a roasted brown rice chip product made with 99.7% brown rice, avoiding oil-frying or oil-processing commonly seen in other snacks. These Zero-Oil Brown Rice Chips are sold as healthy snacks in major retailers such as No Brand and E-Mart, as well as on platforms like Coupang.

History

2005.06 – Established FOODIS Co., Ltd.
2005.07 – Built functional grain processing line (including soaking machine, sprouter, steamer, cooler, hot air roaster, dryer, etc.)
2012.09 – Built a bean-to-bar chocolate production line using proprietary technology of parent company Taehwan Automation Industry Co., Ltd.
2013.08 – Established a joint venture with the Advanced Institute of Convergence Technology at Seoul National University
2017.04 – Developed brown rice chip production line using hot-air roasting technology
2017.10 – Acquired HACCP certification
2018.07 – Launched oil-free brown rice chips made from whole brown rice
2020.07 – Acquired Organic Processed Food Certification
2020.10 – Acquired Vegan Certification
