Andong Soju Ilpoom is a distilled soju brewed with Korean rice and natural aquifer water (350m) through traditional brewing method.Andong Soju Ilpoom is fermented at low temperature (20°C), distilled under reduced pressure below 50°C, and cold filtered at -10°C. With long-term ripening, its taste is mild and smooth.
We produce various types of products that suit the tastes of modern people and are equipped with production facilities that incorporate modern technology, making efforts to globalize and popularize Andong Soju.
1997.04 – Established Pureun Agricultural Cooperative Corporation
2002.02 – Renamed to Andong Soju Ilpoom Co., Ltd.
2006.10 – Designated as a traditional industry business by the National Tax Service
2009.01 – Designated as a local specialty product of Andong City
2015.10 – Grand Prize at the Korean Traditional Liquor Awards
2016.05 – Won Gold Medal at Monde Selection
2019.04 – U.S. trademark registration completed and began exports (ongoing)
2022.11 – Selected as TOP 10 at the Rice Processed Food Fair (Minister’s Award)
2023.07 – Acquired ISO 22000 certification
