Company introduction

Rice Mi, Global G — MiG Food was founded on the belief that Korean traditional tteok (rice cake) can become a globally beloved food. The company is dedicated to the continuous research and development of rice cakes. Its flagship products include floral rice cake slices for soup (kkot tteokguk), tteokssam (rice wrap), and twisted rice cake tteokbokki. To cater to the tastes of various countries amid the globalization of tteokbokki, MiG spent two years developing a patented machine to produce twisted rice cakes.
Through special blending techniques, MiG has also developed patented methods to prevent the rice cakes from bursting when baked or fried and from becoming soggy even after prolonged boiling in broth. In addition, the company holds several patents for non-hardening baekseolgi (steamed white rice cake) and an automatic steaming machine.MiG continuously integrates fresh ideas to globalize Korea s traditional rice cakes. From product design and blending technology to fusion, wellness, and cooking rice cakes—and even developing machinery—MiG proudly stands as a dedicated manufacturer of innovative rice cake products.

2021 – Registered patent for twisted doughnut forming machine
2021 – Registered patent for through-type rice cake machine
2022 – Registered design patent for rice cake molds
2023 – Registered patent for non-hardening Baekseolgi rice cake
2023 – Registered patent for rice tteokbokki that doesn’t explode or harden when fried
2024 – Relocated and expanded factory to Yongin
2024 – Established direct school meal distribution network nationwide
2025 – Registered patent for automatic steaming machine
2025 – Began export to Canada
