Manurungji Seodong Farm Agricultural Co., Ltd. is a food manufacturing company based in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do, specializing in the cultivation of yam, a regional specialty crop, as well as the development and production of yam-based processed food products. Beyond simply offering raw agricultural products, we aim to enhance the value of traditional Korean ingredients by creating a variety of processed foods that combine yam and Nurungji, including Nurungji products, snacks, and grain powder beverages (seonsik). Through these products, we’re building new food culture trends rooted in traditional ingredients. In particular, by focusing on the nutritional properties and digestive enzymes found in yam (mucin, amylase, etc.), we continuously develop easy-to-prepare meal solutions and health-oriented products tailored to modern eating habits. Our goal is to reinterpret traditional ingredients in a modern way. Leveraging an integrated system that covers self-production, processing and sales, we strive to increase the added value of local agricultural products and establish a sustainable agro-food industry model.

Began a contract farming system with local farmers.
2019
Initiated development and officially launched “Yam-Infused Nurungji" products.
Established a standardized system for raw material selection and processing.
2020
Began sales at local food direct outlets and small-scale online stores.
2021
Launched R&D project for “Yam-Infused Nurungji Snack".
2022
Built an upgraded manufacturing facility for HACCP certification.
Entered online shopping malls and major e-commerce platforms.
2023
Developed and launched “Yam-Infused Nurungji Noodles" products.
Expanded processing lines due to increased OEM/PB inquiries.
Developed and launched "Yam-Infused Nurungji Snack" products.
Expanded nationwide distribution network and started live commerce sales.
2025
Launched the brand "Sanma Meal“.
Obtained HACCP Certification.
Obtained 6th Industrialization Certification.
Established automated production facilities (increased daily production capacity).
Entered the preparation stage for overseas exports (targeting China and Hong Kong).
