WOORISOOL Co., Ltd. that succeeded the Jojong brewery in 1928 continues to make makgeolli in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. 80% of Gapyeong is made up of a mountainous terrain and is located in a clean area where the Bukhan River meanders and is always foggy, providing the best conditions for alcohol manufacturing.Located in clean Gapyeong, WOORISOOL Co., Ltd. strives to globalize makgeolli (Exportation to 25 countries) and acquired HACCP for the first time in makgeolli industry in 2013 and has been co-existing with the local community every year since 2010.
